Not impressed with first attempt

My first experience with an eco hot water bottle after decades using natural rubber ones. Disappointed to read instructions stating the need to use water at 'no more than 60 degrees' (and how do you measure that in a domestic setting using the kitchen kettle?!), and warning of what seems to be an absurdly short lifespan, compared to the decades of service provided by the old natural rubber ones. It didn't soften on filling as described, and the well-made cover was excellent at preventing what warmth there was from reaching me. Given it 3 stars -neutral position - as it may be user error, filling with too-cool water. Will try again.
