The inner bottle is made from at least 90% renewable materials as validated by ASTM D 6866-12, is PVC free, recyclable and unlike may other hot water bottle odourless. It's patented design includes a specially designed safety cap and the bottle itself is able to soften slightly when hot water is added.
The outer cover is made from 100% polyester which provides a soft comfortable feel whilst insulating the heat. It also includes a diagonal zipper which allows the cover to be safely separated from the inner bottle. The cover can be washed at 30 degrees.
This hot water bottle can make a great gift and is suitable for both adults and kids alike. It can be used for a whole range of purposes throughout the year including: treating back and abdominal pains, improving sleep or just for keeping warm.

I’ve never had any other HWB other than usual rubber one but liked the sound of an eco version so chose this as the art deco pattern on bottle is gorgeous (though hidden by cover!). My purple cover is a beautiful rich neon tone too with modern zip detail. However I’ve lowered the star rating because you can’t fill it up with water that’s hot enough to retain heat for very long (I use this for castor oil packing so need an hour or two). Seems to lose heat faster than my old one too but perhaps I’m imagining it? I put it on my lower belly but the rigid shape (mine doesn’t soften as previous reviewer said) means that it doesn’t lie flush with the curvature of my belly. Would be fine to heat your bed or your back though. So def recommend but not for my purposes. I was disappointed I couldn’t put 80-90 degree water in and the hardness of bottle. Tried to get exchange but wasn’t very impressed with company’s response. I think it should be made clear in listing of product regarding hardness and lower than rubber water temp. But the strong point is the design aesthetics! Best looking one out there - just make sure it’s for for purpose as I now have an expensive purchase which I can’t use and just sits in my wardrobe.
Interesting bottle, it’s a hard material until you start filling with water when it softens. Cover is handy, fits well and covers the cap pretty well. Good cap seems very secure. Instructions say only to put 60 degrees hot water in but this didn’t heat enough for me, so going to try 70/80 degrees and see what works. Obviously I can’t use boiling water. So far happy with the purchase which I’m using for chest pain at bedtime
Somewhat different from the usual hot water bottles but works a treat, my dog loves it too!!!
